Our Pastor

Rev Jamie Lea, his wife Kandace, and their children Kasondra and James are excited to be at Mont Belvieu First United Methodist Church, in what seems to us to be an area on the verge of even greater things than It has achieved in the past. We love rural East Texas churches and the flavor and tradition they possess. This Church has both that rural feel and the potential to develop into a larger congregation or even a mega church in the near future, if that be God's Will.  For personal and professional reasons my family and I believe that God has a reason and a purpose for us in this area and we are listening intently to what is in store for us. Come with us and catch God's vision for this Church. Fear not for God is with us so nothing can stand against God's people following His Will for their lives. We are glad to be here in a Church that has been selected as a Transforming Congregation by the Texas Annual Conference and even more proud of the way the Church has responded to put their Faith into Action.
